TOS FUT
Introduced as a new product in 2015 at EMO Milan, the TOS FUT impressed visitors with its modern design and high-speed dynamic movements of up to 30 m/min. Customers choose the FUT machining center for its high productivity, excellent stability during machining at extreme axis positions, and outstanding accuracy.
The FUT is designed for machining highly complex workpieces using both conventional machining methods and high-speed machining technologies.
The machine features a T-shaped configuration with separate longitudinal and transverse beds. Its versatility, particularly the wide selection of milling heads, allows maximum adaptation to specific technological requirements.
Ideally, the milling head should be selected according to the machining operation to make full use of the machine's cutting performance and working area. The high power and torque of mechanically driven milling heads are particularly beneficial for heavy-duty roughing operations.
The machine's axis configuration places it in the horizontal boring machine category, where it significantly outperforms competitors in terms of structural rigidity and dynamic performance.
TOS FU
This highly flexible moving-column machining center is another machine in the TOS Kuřim product portfolio. Its flexibility is ensured by a modular design and the possibility of using a wide range of versatile milling heads. The workpiece clamping area is also designed to meet individual customer requirements.
The machine's construction allows a wide range of machining operations, including milling, drilling, roughing, reaming, and tapping.
The TOS FU is suitable for machining heat exchangers, steam turbine components, wind turbine shafts, engine blocks, locomotive and railway bogies, and other large and complex workpieces.
