Machine for polishing small parts made of steel, wood, glass, etc., such as tubes, tips, rings, etc.
Operating principle.
The first workpiece is clamped between two rotating centers (mounted on a three-position indexing table). With each rotation of the indexing table, the workpiece (in the load position) is placed in the first working position (roughing), where it begins to rotate. The workpiece moves from the first working position to the second (finishing), while the workpiece in the second position rotates to the load position, then lifts and is replaced by the new workpiece. Each working group is equipped with two guides: one of them feeds the polishing brush to the workpiece, while the other guides the brushes longitudinally in both directions. A timer controls the work cycle, and the rotation of the workpieces is controlled by a variable-speed motor.
